Celebrating the power of the human spirit

Background

Made51 is a project unlike other charitable projects. They seek to help craftspeople fleeing war or persecution achieve independence by providing a global platform to market their crafts. Made51 aims to give refugees the opportunity to work and earn a living so that they can rebuild their lives. 

Insight

The refugee crisis is the humanitarian crisis of our time, but its daunting scale can be easy to feel powerless in the face of it, as though it is something for which there is no end, and no solution. This is of course true for the refugees, but also for every person who sees and cares about this unfolding crisis. 

 

 

 

Idea

We wanted Made51 to stand for a different way of thinking about the crisis, one built around hope, optimism, defiance, and the power of the collective human spirit, brought to life through a bold, bright brand world.
